Footnotes

From June 1, 2021, conventional cytology was replaced by liquid-based cytology. When making changes to the cervical cancer screening method, a transition period was set until the end of 2021, during which both cytological smear examination and liquid-based cytology could be performed. From July 1, 2022: for women aged 25-29 years - the primary screening examination method is liquid-based cytology, for women aged 30-69 years - the primary screening examination method is high-risk HPV (human papillomavirus) detection.

Result
Taking into account the changes in primary screening methods from July 1, 2022 (in the 25-29 age group - liquid cytology; in the 30-69 age group - high-risk CPV test), the result is classified as “unknown” if the examination method used does not correspond to the method specified in the screening algorithm for the relevant age group or the data is not available due to data system limitations.
Indicator
The proportion of results was calculated from the known examination results, as well as separately for cytology and HPV examination methods.
